MidCOM 2.4.5 released

GÜNZBURG -- The Midgard Project has released version 2.4.5 of MidCOM - the Midgard Components Framework. MidCOM is a PHP-based component framework for the Midgard Content Management System.

MidCOM is the default Content Management interface in Midgard CMS, and provides developers a production-proven architecture for building new web applications. With the MidCOM framework PHP applications have powerful localization, configuration, templating and data abstraction features. This is the another bugfix release for the current stable strain.

Noteworthy changes since the 2.4.4 release:

  • AIS
    • Several typos in the logging code of error handlers have been fixed.
  • Cache
    • Fixed the content-type header handling.
    • Tried to force revalidations (conditional GET) through a new HTTP header handling to avoid stale pages. Should fix #297.
    • Fixed some broken logging calls.
  • Core
  • Datamanager
  • I18n
    • Fixed a notice about $php_errormsg being undefined.
  • Newsticker (de.linkm.newsticker)
  • Forum (net.nemein.discussion)
    • Tweaked the forms a bit.
  • RSS Feed Aggregator (net.nemein.rss)
    • Made the component more resilent against charset errors while parsing XML.
