Midgard provides a reliable CMS framework build on top of the LAMP platform. Midgard's core features include internationalization, accessibility, scalability, robust templating and PHP connectivity. This release doesn't provide any new features, it is bugfix release which makes midgard much more easier to install and much more stable for running production environments.

This is a maintenance release that includes some bug fixes and support for the new Zend Thread Safety (ZTS) mode in PHP.

On a short notice, the upload of the 2.4.3 tarball is delayed for about 30-60 minutes as my home box here has trouble keeping up with PHPDocs memory requirements (350+ MB)... I just hope Nathan won't...

This afternoon, Nathan, the server which is running the Midgard Project website (among others), got a memory upgrade from 512 to 2.048 MB. Over two thirds of this hardware was kindly sponosred by Henri Bergius and his company Nemein Oy, Finland. Thanks again!

Due to missing credencials for the Midgard DNS Admin (I'm investigating) you can no longer connect to irc.midgard-project.org, instead, use irc.nehmer.net or irc.io.link-m.de (both CNAMES to the same host) until further notice.
