Midgard 1.7.1 "Plug and Pray" released

Lodz, September 7th 2005 -- The Midgard Project has released stable release version 1.7.1 of the Midgard Open Source Content Management System. Midgard's 1.7 branch is a major overhaul of the whole Content Management System. Besides the stable and mature Content Management features of first generation Midgard, it also ships a preview version� of second generation Midgard capabilities, allowing developers to have a glimpse at the new day of Midgard2. 1.7.1 is a maintenance release and includes bug fixes and some new features.

GÜNZBURG -- The Midgard Project has released version 2.5.1 of MidCOM - the Midgard Components Framework. MidCOM is a PHP-based component framework for the Midgard Content Management System. This is the second development release of the Midgard Schema driven version of MidCOM.

Bittorrent Seed Mirrors wanted

The Midgard server does now provide Bittorrent tracking services. The file list is not that impressive yet, but nevertheless we are looking for more seeds, to get some decent network running.

Hardware Upgrade for Nathan, sponsored by Nemein

This afternoon, Nathan, the server which is running the Midgard Project website (among others), got a memory upgrade from 512 to 2.048 MB. Over two thirds of this hardware was kindly sponosred by Henri Bergius and his company Nemein Oy, Finland. Thanks again!
