Midgard has PAM support

MINSK, Mar 22nd 2004 -- Alexander Bokovoy has checked in the first version of PAM support for Midgard. PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) enables Midgard to authenticate users using external sources like LDAP, Windows networks or the Linux passwd file.
PAM support was committed to Midgard CVS this morning. It should still be considered experimental, and testing help would be appreciated.
PAM authentication can be activated in mod_midgard for Apache 1 by setting the following configuration parameter:
MidgardAuthType PAM
The authentication source in PAM for Midgard is "midgard". PAM support will be compiled into midgard-lib if the PAM libraries can be found on the system, so no configure switches are required.
