Aegir "More Fun Upcoming" 1.0.1 released!

POZNAN, OSLO, Oct 3rd 2003 -- The Aegir CMS development team has released the Aegir CMS Open Source Content Management System version 1.0.1 "More Fun Upcoming".
Aegir CMS runs on top of the Midgard Content Management Framework built on the Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) platform. Midgard powers thousands of websites ranging from small organizational websites (www.oscom.org) to major portals like New Zealand eGovernment site (www.govt.nz) and Playbill (www.playbill.com).
Aegir CMS's key features include:
- MS Word -compatible content editor
- Easy publishing environment for non-technical users
- Requires MS Internet Explorer 5.01+ or Mozilla 1.3+

The Aegir CMS project
The Aegir CMS development project aims to further improve the Nadmin Studio codebase to provide the most versatile and user-friendly Content Management System built on an Open Source framework.
