Installing Midgard from Source
If you installed the Midgard Framework using the distribution packages, you should stop reading this and skip to the next section of the installation manual.
The Midgard Framework may be easily installed using prebuilt binary packages or build scripts for your distribution. The installation instructions can be found from the distribution package installation instructions.
If for some reason your favourite operating system and distribution is not on the list of supported distributions, or you want to build the Midgard Framework from sources anyway, keep in mind that the following packages will be needed.
