Aegir CMS 1.0 released

POZNAN, ESPOO, Aug 25th 2003 -- The Aegir CMS development team has released the Aegir CMS Open Source Content Management System version 1.0 "Ludowy CMS".
Version 1.0 marks an important milestone in the development process.
Aegir CMS is derived from the successful Nadmin Studio codebase and is
developed by an international group of Open Source developers. The
application is available under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
Aegir CMS runs on top of the Midgard Content Management Framework built on the Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) platform. Midgard powers thousands of websites ranging from small organizational websites (www.oscom.org) to major portals like New Zealand eGovernment site (www.govt.nz) and Playbill (www.playbill.com).

Aegir CMS requires a working installation of Midgard 1.4.3 or later. Midgard is available in the following formats:
