net.nemein.wiki
net.nemein.wiki is the Wiki component in MidCOM. It allows creation of documentation and content areas where registered and even anonymous users can easily contribute material. Examples of net.nemein.wiki usage include the Midgard Documentation and OpenPsa documentation sites.
Features
- Editing is done using the Markdown syntax
- Several different linking options are supported.
- The wiki can have multiple namespaces
- All edits are versioned using the midcom.services.rcs system and manageable using its user interface
- Pages can be either content or redirection pages
- Anonymous editing is disabled by default, but can be easily enabled using permissions
- Access Control Lists can be deployed on whole wiki, a namespace or a single page
- RSS 2.0 feed of latest changes is available
- Users can subscribe to change notices via email
- Pages support tagging
- Pages support automatic table of contents
- Migrating existing wiki content from MoinMoin Wiki is supported
The Midgard Wiki is already quite usable. However, there are still some missing features to be added.
The Wiki uses Datamanager for data editing and display, and FeedCreator for RSS output.
