Changing Languages in Aegir

Purpose

The Tab bar at the lower part of the Aegir Welcome Page has a Configuration Tab to enable the changing of the Language of the Interface.

International content

As Aegir 1.x doesn't support UTF-8 encoding by default, for languages like Chinese and Russian that use a non-western Character Set it is neccessary to change the language to edit content in that language.

You can return to the Welcome Page by pressing on the Start link.

Task: Change The Interface Language

1. Select Configuration from the Tabs
2. Change the pull down list to the required Language
3. Press Submit
