New Style can be created from any existing Styles such that the new Style inherits all elements from the existing Style without having to define them again - it is called the Child Style.

Task

1. Select the Style which is to be the parent, and Press the New tab.
2. Input Child Style name and the owner group then press Submit to create.
   Message "Child Style xxxx has been created" will be displayed.
3. All existing Child Styles are listed below below their parent in the tree, Click on the Child Style to go to the corresponding detail pages.

Note

1. Child Style can inherit elements from parent Style.

   • Element calls can be made to any existing element in the parent Style from the Child Style.
   • Local element with the same name as the parent Style element will replace the parent one and have its own definition in the Child Style.
