Create a New Group
Apart from the default group, the Administrator group created by the system, other groups in a company can also be created using this function which defines the group access rights and members.
The New Group function is available to all the people in the groups that have access to the Groups & People function.

Task
- For Sitegroup Administrator, press the New Group button under the Groups & People tab to display the Create New Group window on the right.
Note: The Create New Group window defines the group name, group access rights, and members. The available rights are same as the - For other users, press the New tab on the right screen to display the Create New Sub-group window.

- Press Submit to confirm.
Message "New Group xxxx has been created" will be displayed.

Notes
By default all the new groups would be owned by the Sitegroup Administrator group, allowing only the Sitegroup Administrators to modify the group membership and information. You may want to change the Group owner to other groups such that sub-grouping is enabled. This sub-grouping among groups is illustrated by the tree hierachies under the Groups & People tab.
