Managing a Midgard site via WebDAV

  1. Managing a Midgard site via WebDAV

    Hi, all!

We've been having a little MidCOM3 hack event with Tero Heikkinen this week.

The main result is that now MidCOM3 does WebDAV out-of-the-box. This
means you can point your DAV client to a MidCOM3 site and browse and
    manage it.

    What is supported now:
    * Browsing site structure (page tree) via WebDAV and creating new pages
    * Fully managing the style and element tree
    * Fully managing the snippetdir and snippet tree

    What needs work:
    * Easier DAV handling helpers for components
    * The rest of DAV methods supported for the page tree
    * Variants support so an article can provide itself in multiple
formats: HTML, XML ... over WebDAV and to AJAX clients
    * Actual locking support (now we do "dummy locks")

    Anyway, a little screenshot:
