So, what is Midgard?

  1. So, what is Midgard?

    Hi,

Something we discussed with Everaldo last week in Sao Paulo:

"MidCOM is an MVC framework for the PHP programming language. It runs
on top of Midgard, a Free Software persistent storage plaftorm for
    interactive web application development."

I'm not so sure on the "interactive web application part", though, as
Midgard2 can be used for also native apps. And maybe we should say
    "replicated" there?

    Hey,

I think that "Midgard, a Free Software persistent storage platform
with replication and log mechanisms" could be nice. At least for me,
"persistence", "replication" and "log" looks to be the words that most
    people could search for.
