Fedora 11 and 12 have libgda 4.0.5 and Fedora 13 will have libgda >= 4.0.7. openSUSE 11.2 has libgda 4.1.2.

Is 4.0.5 new enough? And if not, what about 4.0.7?

4.0.6 is minimum version we can depend on.
But I expect we will require 4.0.8 because of Object Introspection.
